Coles is making another surge with their Flybuys reward program with new cards, new rewards and a my5 program which gives the consumer a 10% discount on their 5 nominated items. This appear to be in direct competition to the Woolworths everyday rewards program which has been running smoothly over the last few years.
A mass mailout of around 8 million Flybuys packs starts on Monday 23rd April 2012 and this shows Coles is serious about getting in the face of every household in Australia. Coles also states that they already have 5 million active members in the old Flybuys program and have increased the rate of rewards by 50%, suggesting that you will be rewarded quicker than ever before.
A unique my5 discount program will be launched allowing the my5 member an opportunity to select up to 5 items from a 800 item product range and receive 10% discount on those items when they present their flybuys card and spend over $50 in one transaction.
The new rewards include a deal with Webjet which enables the flybuys points to be converted into flights or hotels when booking through the www.webjet.com.au Additional partners include AGL and Telstra.
